Tempulli College Professors Publish Another Scientific Research Paper in a SCOPUS-Indexed Journal
Prof. Dr. Ema Berisha Krasniqi and Prof. Dr. Muhamed Krasniqi of Tempulli College, in collaboration with other researchers, have published the scientific paper entitled “Regional Logistics Centers for Efficient Cross-Border Freight Distribution: An Empirical Analysis” in the international journal International Journal of Innovative Technology and Interdisciplinary Sciences (IJITIS), indexed in SCOPUS.
The research represents a continuation and advancement of Prof. Dr. Ema Berisha Krasniqi’s scientific work. It builds on the research foundation developed during her doctoral studies and expands it through advanced methods of modelling, optimisation, and statistical analysis.
The study examines the strategic role of regional logistics centres in improving the efficiency of freight transport and cross-border distribution, with a particular focus on Kosovo and the Western Balkans. The findings provide a scientific basis for the planning and development of logistics centres and for the region’s more effective integration into European transport corridors and supply chains.
From a methodological perspective, the analysis includes 100 transport scenarios, while the robustness of the results and the impact of uncertainty were assessed through 10,000 Monte Carlo simulations. The findings demonstrate the potential of logistics centres to reduce transport costs and delivery times, improve capacity utilisation, and increase overall system productivity.
This publication represents another contribution by the academic staff of Tempulli College to international scientific research. It also confirms the institution’s commitment to academic quality, internationalisation, and the development of scientific knowledge with practical applications in the transport and logistics sector.
