Tempulli College, in order to meet the institution’s needs, announces a vacancy for the following position:

– Program Holder in Civil Engineering/Structures (Bachelor/Master), full-time

1. Role Tempulli College is seeking full-time Professors to serve as Program Holder in the field of Civil Engineering/Structures. The Program Holder is responsible for the academic leadership and implementation of the program, ensuring the quality of teaching, developing, implementing, and updating the curriculum and study programs, as well as coordinating academic activities in accordance with institutional regulations and professional higher education standards in the field of Civil Engineering.

This position plays a key role in integrating theoretical teaching with professional practice, preparing students for the labor market, and actively engaging the program in accreditation and academic development processes.

2. Main Duties and Responsibilities

· Serve as Program Holder and take responsibility for the academic delivery and proper functioning of the study program.

· Plan, develop, and deliver teaching in the relevant field of expertise, in accordance with the curriculum and academic standards.

· Provide academic consultations to students according to approved schedules and their academic needs.

· Actively participate in academic meetings and activities organized by relevant College structures.

· Contribute to the development, review, and updating of the program curriculum in line with professional developments and requirements of the Civil Engineering field.

· Engage in accreditation and re-accreditation processes of the study program in cooperation with academic and administrative bodies.

· Assess and grade students in accordance with academic regulations and institutional policies.

· Apply contemporary and practical teaching methods, integrating theoretical learning with professional practice.

· Report regularly on academic work and activities to the Coordinator and relevant structures.

· Conduct a minimum of two (2) scientific research activities per academic year, in line with the institution’s research policies.

· Mentor and supervise Bachelor (BSc) and Master (MSc) theses, as required.

· Engage in academic, research, and development projects in line with professional profile and expertise.

· Prepare, develop, and update core and supplementary teaching materials for the modules taught.

· Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the direct supervisor, in accordance with the scope of the position and institutional regulations.

3. Required Qualifications

· PhD in Civil Engineering or related fields; equivalent to Level 8 of the National Qualifications Framework, with nostrification from MASHT if the degree was obtained outside the Republic of Kosovo.

· Proven university teaching experience of at least 3 academic years (6 semesters).

· At least 1 scientific publication for Bachelor level and 2 publications for Master level in journals with impact factor >0, indexed in Web of Science (WoS) or Scopus, as first or corresponding author.

· Experience in mentoring and supervising Bachelor and/or Master theses.

· Ability to apply contemporary and practical teaching methods, including integrating professional practice into the teaching process.

· Professional integrity, organizational skills, and good command of English.
