The third international conference “Transport Research and Knowledge Transfer in Road Safety” will be organized by the Tempulli College of Applied Technical Sciences and the Kosovo Motoring Association – AMRKS, and will be supported by Sapienza – Università di Roma, IRU Academy, European Transport Safety Council – ETSC, Kosovo Insurance Bureau and Kosovo Road Safety Forum.

The conference will bring together institutions and stakeholders dealing with transport and road safety issues in the country, region and Europe. This conference provides an additional opportunity for all participants to exchange their ideas, with local and international experts to face the challenges related to road safety, accident prevention, EU investment projects in road-rail infrastructure, vehicle insurance, presentation of models and transfer of various research on road safety.

In support of the UN Decade of Action for Road Safety 2011-2020, the aim of this conference is to inform but also support best practices and models in transport and road safety, with the aim of facilitating the path towards the full integration of the Western Balkan countries into the European Union.

The third international conference “Transport Research and Knowledge Transfer in Road Safety” will be held on 22 January 2016, at the Swiss Diamond Hotel in Pristina, Republic of Kosovo.
